UUM Professors Give A Public Lecture to Improve the Research Method of Researchers

Universitas Syiah Kuala (USK) successfully held a public lecture with professors from Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM), Associate Professor Dr. Fakhrorazi Ahmad Director of Executive Development Center (EDeC), and Dr. Hartini Husin, Deputy Dean (Students Affairs & Alumni) School of International Studies (SOIS), on Thursday, 9 March 2023.
The lecture entitled “Advanced Research Method: Calibrating and Aligning Unsolved Issues in Empirical Studies” was held at Mini Theater Room, Pascasarjana USK building. This lecture reviews strategies to enhance knowledge in overcoming common unsolved issues in research.
The public lecture, that opened for graduate students, lecturers, researchers, supervisors, and Ph.D. candidates, discussed issues on the background of the study without proper observation, observation without issues, and problem statement with no research gap (practical and theoretical gap), aligning theory and framework, leading framework to contributions, data collection unsolved issues, findings and conclusions, and others.
The public lecture was opened by the Director of the Directorate of Planning and Partnerships of Universitas Syiah Kuala, dr. Iflan Nauval, M.ScIH, Sp.GK (K), Sp.KKLP, AIFO-K. Present at the event, Coordinator for Promotion & International Mobility of Office of International Affairs (OIA), Izzan Nur Aslam S.T., M.Eng., and staff, as well as students and lecturers of USK.
