USK Welcomes Malaysia Delegations from Malaysia

Universitas Syiah Kuala (USK) welcomed Associate Prof. Ts. Dr. Huei Ruey Ong, Senior Dean of Institute of Academic for Engineering, and Dr. Aizuddin Abdul Rahman, Dean of Student Affairs Center, DRB – HICOM University of Automotive Malaysia, on 28 August 2023.
They were welcomed by the Chairman of the Office of International Affairs (OIA) USK, Dr. Muzailin Affan, M.Sc., the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Dr. Ir. Iskandar, ST.M.Eng.Sc., IPM., ASEAN Eng., and Lecturer of Faculty of Chemical Engineering, Dr. Nasrullah, ST, MT, and Staff.
On that ocaasion, Dr. Muzailin Affan gave a short introduction and presentation about Universitas Syiah and faculties.
“There is a possibility for us to build collaboration such as Student Exchange programs, Joint Research and Publications, Short Visits, Industrial Internships, Community Engagement and so on,” he said.
He added that it was possible for the two universities to form a MoU and have a signing ceremony.
Prof. Ts. Dr. Huei Ruey Ong, a representative from Malaysia, said that it would be a good opportunity if both universities could collaborate, especially in the area of the Independent Campus program. He also introduced a number of study program options that USK students could pursue.
