USK Rector Met Imam

Accompanied by the Chairman of the Office of International Affairs, Dr. Muzailin Affan, rector of Universitas Syiah Kuala, Prof. Marwan, welcomed warmly Sheikh Dr.Abdelrahman Monis Allaithy on 28 December 2022 at Rector room, Universitas Syiah Kuala.

The meeting discussed the possibility of cooperation between Universitas Syiah Kuala and Allaithy Academy, especially on Quran education.

Sheikh Dr.Abdelrahman Monis Allaithy is an Imam and Khadim Al-Quran Al-Karem from Egypt and lives in Malaysia. He has built the Allaithy Academy to help people in learning the Al-Quran, Tajdwid, and some of the sciences related to it.

Previously, Universitas Syiah Kuala, under Office of International Affairs, coordination successfully hosted the one-week International Quranic Daurah on 22- 28 December 2022. Approximately 200 participants participated in the activity.
