USK Launched the 4th International Community Engagement (KKN) Program

Universitas Syiah Kuala (USK) officially launched the 4th International Community Engagement (KKN) Program on 1 July 2024. The ceremony took place at the Balai Senat room, Universitas Syiah Kuala.
This year’s program will take place in Kedah, Malaysia, and 16 students will participate. The students are from various academic backgrounds, including the Faculties of Veterinary Medicine, Law, Medicine, Dentistry, and Faculty of Math and Science.
During the ceremony, the Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, Prof. Dr. Ir. Agussabti, M.Si., IPU, addressed the participating students, emphasizing the importance of their roles as ambassadors representing Universitas Syiah Kuala and especially Aceh.
“Through this program, all students will serve as ambassadors, carrying the name of Universitas Syiah Kuala and Aceh. It is expected that all members will bring positive impacts and foster a sense of community with the people of Malaysia,” said Prof. Dr. Ir. Agussabti.
He also advised the students to maintain their health and teamwork during the program, using this opportunity as a learning platform to integrate with the local community and apply the knowledge gained from their studies.
“I hope all students will gain memorable and unforgettable experiences during the International Community Engagement (KKN) program,” he concluded.
The delegation of the International Community Engagement (KKN) program will depart on 3 July and return on 26 July 2024.
