KSI USK Graduation Ceremony Batch I

King Sejong Insitute (KSI) branch Banda Aceh, hosted by Universitas Syiah Kuala (USK), successfully held a graduation ceremony for the 27 students, on Wednesday, 27 December 2023, at Gelanggang, USK.

The ceremony was attended by the Chief of KSI and Chairman of the Office of International Affairs (OIA), Dr. Muzailin Affan, Chief of Staff Operations of KSI, Esther Lee, KSI Teachers, Park Woo Chul, Chung Bok Hee, and Kim Nari, OIA Staffs, and witnessed directly by KSI students and guests.

The ceremony was started by watching the testimony video, then continued with the certificate distribution given by the teachers formally, class performances, and group photo session.

Dr. Muzailin said that this graduation ceremony shows the dedication of graduates to learning the language and culture. Learning a new language is not always easy. It requires strong motivation and commitment to understand the new alphabet, grammar, and culture.

“I hope these graduates can keep using the Korean language capability for certain purposes, and use this language competence as a bridge to continue study at Korea universities or work at Korea industries shortly” he closed.

As the first batch of this year, each class graduated a different number of graduates, for level 1A (Beginner 1) is 12 students, for level 1B (Beginner 2) is 10 students, and level 3A (Intermediate) is 5 students.
