King Sejong Institute Banda Aceh Celebrates Graduation Ceremony

King Sejong Institute (KSI) Banda Aceh branch held its graduation ceremony on December 14, 2024, at the Pascasarjana building of Universitas Syiah Kuala (USK).

The Rector of the university, Prof. Marwan, attended the occasion and extended his congratulations to the graduates through his brief speech.

“I would like to congratulate all the graduates who have completed the course. May your language skills take you to higher levels of education or career opportunities,” he concluded.

Prof. Marwan also presented certificates of completion to graduates who have completed the course, as symbol of their achievements.

Various engaging activities, including the awarding of certificates and captivating performances, such as traditional Korean dances and a choir singing in the Korean language, enlivened the event.

Dr. Muzailin Affan, the Chairman of the Office of International Affairs of USK and Director of the King Sejong Institute Banda Aceh branch, highlighted the growing popularity of the Korean language among young people. “The Korean language has become one of the most favorite languages today, because of its unique and fascinating culture, encompassing its cuisine, tourism, and much more,” he remarked.

The ceremony concluded with a group photo session featuring all the graduates and main figures involved in making the event successful.
