Isatou Reflects on Her Academic Journey at Universitas Syiah Kuala
Banda Aceh, 28 May 2025 — Graduation day marks a milestone moment for students across Universitas Syiah Kuala, and for Isatou Kunjo from The Gambia, it is a day filled with joy, pride, and reflection. As a graduate of the Magister Management program at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Isatou’s academic journey has been both challenging and rewarding.
“Right now, I feel a mix of happiness, relief, and pride,” said Isatou. “It’s been a long journey filled with hard work, sleepless nights, and dedication. Finally reaching this point feels like a huge accomplishment, and I’m truly grateful for the experience.”
Isatou shared that one of her biggest challenges was managing time effectively. Juggling coursework, exams, and personal responsibilities required resilience and adaptability. “I had to learn how to stay organized, set priorities, and sometimes make sacrifices,” she reflected. “Staying focused and reminding myself of my goals helped me push through difficult moments.”
Her success, she emphasized, was not a solo achievement. “I’d like to thank my family for their constant support and encouragement. I’m also very grateful to my lecturers and friends who helped me throughout my studies. Their guidance and motivation played a big part in helping me succeed.”
Isatou’s story is an inspiring testament to perseverance and the power of a strong support system. As she moves on to the next chapter of her journey, she carries with her the values, knowledge, and experiences gained during her time at Universitas Syiah Kuala.
Congratulations, Isatou Kunjo, and to all graduates of 2025. Your achievements today are a foundation for your continued success tomorrow.
