Esther’s Fine Art Presents ‘Fine Arts Pour Inspiration into Our Lives’ Exhibition

Esther’s Fine Art, in collaboration with the Office of International Affairs (OIA), Universitas Syiah Kuala, successfully organized an Art Exhibition at the Taman Budaya building, Banda Aceh. It was officially opened on Tuesday, 21 till 23 December 2021. 

The exhibition that took a theme Fine Arts Pour Inspiration into Our Lives, featured a dozen works of artists. It provided a platform for artists with diverse backgrounds to display their artworks that have been done during the pandemic. The collective artworks represent artists’ voices of life that typically occur around the home, and aspects of solitude and ways individuals connect with their surroundings.

Esther Lee, the Art teacher from the University of The Nations, South Korea, said that the exhibition displayed artworks made by kids, adults, and art instructors. The exhibition was supposed to be organized before December, but due to the pandemic, it was postponed.

“In the next new year, I hope we all together can keep giving a contribution and keep supporting actively activities that can improve creativities, like by holding the art exhibition”, closed Esther Lee.

On that occasion, Dr. Muzailin Affan, the chairman of OIA attended the exhibition and find it was fascinating. There were displays of art with different impressions made by artists of different ages.

“They made amazing and colorful works, even they can make simple optical illusion arts for its level. I hope this event can attract more visitors, especially for those who want to learn art”, stated Dr. Muzailin Affan.  

In addition, the exhibition was attended by several famous artists from Banda Aceh, university academicians, and the public. The visitors enjoyed the moments by seeing watercolor arts, acrylic arts, and oil paint arts. Besides, the exhibition provided a drawing corner for visitors to express their colorful ideas on canvas.
