OIA Visits Spain to Build Partnership with Universitat Politecnica de Valencia

Dr. Muzailin Affan, the Chairman of Office of International Affairs (OIA) visited International Relations and Internships Office (ORI) to build a partnership and further cooperation with Universitat Politecnica de Valencia, 11 May 2022. He met Josefina Soler, the officer of ORI, School of Engineering in Geodesy, Cartography and Surveying.

Both parties agreed to build a collaboration on academic staff and student exchange program, and internship program, as well as other possible academic activity programs. On that occasion, Dr. Muzailin Affan took a chance to introduce Universitas Syiah Kuala and Banda Aceh.

As the information, the International Relations Office (ORI) aims to strengthen UPV as a destination university for foreign students by establishing agreements with other foreign universities and institutions. The university is open possibilities for programs such as international mobility program, languages course program, international forum and others.

In addition, Universitas Syiah Kuala has successfully organized academic activities with Spain universities such as Virtual International Staff Training Week hosted by University of Seville in 2021, Technical Training on Disaster Risk Reduction and Management hosted by Polytechnic University of Valencia in 2022, and Training on syllabus preparation related to sports courses hosted by Universitat Politècnica de València in 2022.
