Vice-Rector Visits OIA

Prof. Dr. Ir. Taufiq Saidi., M. Eng., IPU, Vice-Rector for Planning, Cooperation, & Public Relation Affairs of Universitas Syiah Kuala, visited the Office of International Affairs (OIA) on 27 May 2022. The visit was welcomed by Dr. Muzailin Affan, Chairman of OIA, Dr. Mitahuddin, Vice Director of OIA, and staffs.

During the meeting, Dr. Muzailin Affan introduced OIA and staffs, as well as OIA work plans achievements, and challenges.

“During this time, OIA successfully held numerous academic activities that support the vision and mission of the university, even during the pandemic, OIA still arranged the events virtually or on the site. For the future, OIA will focus on the arrangement of International KKN-PPL, Fellowship, Summer Camp, and others”, said Dr. Muzailin Affan.

Prof. Dr. Ir. Taufiq Saidi., M. Eng., IPU said, ”As we know that OIA is the main door for international cooperation. It plays a big role and stands as one of the important keys for the university to achieve the title of The World-Class University. So that it is necessary to maintain and support its existence”.

Prof. Dr. Ir. Taufiq Saidi., M. Eng., IPU is the new Vice-Rector that was officially appointed on 13 May 2022, replacing Prof. Hizir, the former Vice-Rector.
