This info session aimed to share information for students who want to apply for the student exchange program and study at UCD through IISMA Program 2022.

“UDC is the top university in Ireland, I hope students can take this opportunity to ask further about studying there, especially the IISMA program to the officer from UCD. Moreover, the number of applicants this year is higher than last year so I hope students from USK will have the opportunity to engage with the international atmosphere, especially with UCD”, said Dr. Muzailin Affan.

Khairul Munadi, ST., M.Eng., also remarked that he was very pleased to know that the info session was taking the place on the day. On behalf of the Indonesian embassy in London he delivered that they stand ready to support the IISMA program, they will do their best to ensure that the IISMA program will be successfully implemented this year. Last year, the incoming student to UK and Ireland were almost 250 students and now they were expecting more than that last year.

Regarding the number of applicants, Rachmat Sriwijaya said that this is the number is increasing compared to the number last year.

“The number of scholarships this year is increasing, from 1000 to 1100 scholarships, and 75 students already submit to UCD. For the next year, the government will increase the number again to 5000, so, for this year there will be a big chance for UCD to accept more students than this year. We are happy to assist students, especially from Aceh because we want all students from any province or any part of Indonesia to be part of the IISMA program”, he stated.
