Indonesian International Student Mobility Awards (IISMA) 2023

Indonesian International Student Mobility Awards (IISMA) is a scholarship scheme by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia to fund Indonesian students for a one semester-mobility program at top universities and reputable industries overseas. Offering two schemes for undergraduate and vocational students, IISMA will expose Indonesian students to international academic and cultural diversity.

The Awards’ Coverage

To make the best out of participants` mobility program, they will be granted these following benefits:

  1. Registration & tuition fee
  2. PCR, Quarantine, and Health Insurance (Covering COVID)
  3. Settlement and Living Allowance
  4. Economy Airfare and Visa
  5. Emergency Fund

Applicants’ Qualification

  1. GPA Minimum 3.00 English language proficiency (TOEFL iBT 80/TOEFL ITP 550/ IELTS 6.0/Duolingo100)
  2. Home university nomination
  3. Semester 4 – 7 Indonesian undergraduate students (S1)
  4. Currently enrolled in Indonesian Universities under The Directorate General of Higher Education, MoEC

Steps to Apply

  1. Prepare all required documents
  2. Decide which university partners you want to choose
  3. Consult to your academic supervisor, department or faculty/school to get clear information about transferrable courses, how to transfer the credit, defining the learning outcome, etc.
  4. Drop all required documents to the faculty to get cover letter in proposing Letter of Recommendation, which is issued by university. Some faculty/school have International Relation Office that you can keep contact with. Please indicate your active email when you are on this step. Letter of Recommendation will be sent to your email.
  5. Faculty/school will soon generate cover letter to university to release your Letter of Recommendation
  6. Original soft copy will be generated and sent to your email
