SYIAH KUALA UNIVERSITY SIGNS MOU WITH MALAYSIA ENTERPRISES
Syiah Kuala University has built partnership with Rasyid Ulong Enterprises Malaysia. The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed officially by Prof. Dr. Samsul Rizal M. Eng, the Rector of Syiah Kuala University, and Tuan Haji Muhammad Rasyid Ulong, the Director of Rasyid Ulong Enterprises, 5 February 2020, at Syiah Kuala University.
Through MoU, Syiah Kuala University and the Rasyid Ulong Enterprises will collaborate by assigning a number of student and supervisor to conduct professional practical training, pertaining on garment, industry, and marketing. These students and supervisors are expected to be experts that can give a contribution to Syiah Kuala University and societies. Moreover, Malaysia Enterprises will sponsor specific needs during the program that have been agreed by both parties, including training fees, meals, accommodation, raw materials needed, and so on.
Prof. Dr. Samsul Rizal M. Eng. stated “This is a good program for both and I hope it can be followed up in the near future with the industry.”
“I hope Syiah Kuala University can assign students and lecturers to attain practical training to be professional when they back to Aceh, they can be the experts at the university”, stated Tuan Haji Muhammad Rasyid Ulong, the Director of Rasyid Ulong Enterprises.
The Rasyid Ulong Enterprises Sdn. Bhd. is a private company in Malaysia that established in 1983. It is a garment factory producing all kinds of mattresses, pillows, garments and other products related to fabric materials, with its factories in Malaysia and Southern Thailand.
