GUEST LECTURE – MULTI PERSPECTIVE OF WELL-BEING IN MALAYSIA

Guest Lecture - UPM MalaysiaSyiah Kuala University in collaboration with Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) successfully held a Guest Lecture at Academic Activity Center (AAC), VIP Room, Syiah Kuala University, on 23 January 2020.

The Guest Lecture event introduced six speakers from Institute for Social Science Studies (IPSAS) UPM Malaysia, they are Prof. Asnarulkhadi Abu Samah, the Director of IPSAS, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Haliza Abdul Rahman, the Chief of IPSAS Youth Welfare & Social Health Lab, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mohamad Fazli Sabri, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Norbaya Ahmad, and Dr. Zatul Himman Adnan, the three Associate Researchers, and Dr. Lee Kwan Meng, the Fellow Researcher.

The Guest Lecture brought up a theme Multi Perspective of Well-Being in Malaysia and briefly explained a different topics for each speakers.

Dr. Muzailin Affan, the Chairman of Office of International Affairs of Syiah Kuala University on his opening speech gave a brief description about Syiah Kuala University including the pioneer and the name of the university itself. Moreover, he stated that he is an alumnus from one university in Malaysia. He hoped that through this guest lecture, it can attract Syiah Kuala University students to study or conduct certain academic activities in Malaysia, especially in UPM.
