The purpose of the internship is to give valuable global experience practices in different culture, language, and expand their professional network in a supportive environment.
“On the first day of the internship, my friends and I were welcomed warmly by the director and staffs. The office and facilities here are good. Every day is a busy day because the director and staffs are preparing the new project. Our working hours start from 08.30 am to 05.30 pm. During work, we are given break time for one and a half hours to pray and others”, said by Ghifari.
“I handle research program that related to tourism and air expansion of Air Transport Linkages, while my friends handle research on Halal Tourism, investment, and employment. Commonly, our job is collecting information related to the project of IMT-GT such as agriculture and agro-based industry, tourism, halal products and services, transport and ICT connectivity, trade and investment facilitation, environment and HRD, education, and culture. I feel the internship experience is very impressive because I can feel the international atmosphere of work and gain new information about international projects”, he added.
